brutality

generation is a really brutal story for me. yes there are cases in which some people tend to kill their own family when they've been totally hurt or something. but a kid? killing his own father? woah! i don't know what the author wanted to say in the story, maybe it is better if we had invited her to talk.. or to explain? haha!

i like reading thriller stories, suspense, or something that has criminal cases or something to solve, but i have never read stories like this until i've read it. hmn.. yeah maybe it was just because of the environment she grew up to. (i mean the character in the story) but still i believe, that whether we grew up in such way, we would still learn what the law is saying about killing. even if we have heard it or not, even if we are aware of it or not, we would still learn what is good or bad. learning it is very simple, i guess.

haay.. maybe the reason why im having a hard time accepting the story, or relating myself to the story is that my life is far different from the life of the little girl in the story. i have a cool family, haha! because we are like friends, tropa. and i'm thankful for that, even if sometimes we're having misunderstandings and all. everyone have experienced it i guess.

now, upon doing this blog, i felt bad for that little girl, and for all others who are experiencing the same thing with that little girl. i know,in one way or another, somehow, somewhere, such thing still happens. and all we can do is to pray for them. prayer is the most powerful thing in the world..

and i thank God for blessing me and my family.

once upon a time.

it is very natural for the Filipino people or even for non Filipinos to fantisize about things. so even in writing, we tend to mix those fantasies in our writings. we can't blame ourselves in fantasizing, it makes us feel good, relaxed and happy. noh?! (but i think, imagine is a much better term that fantasize, haha!)

when we imagine things, it can be as real as what it can be or it can be just fantasy.

but what is real and what is fantasy?

for me, fantasy is full of perfection. almost everything is perfect, beautiful, sweet and lovely. yes there are times in which there are chaos, witches, villains, but they can vanish easily and may not appear anymore. so that you may have there the so called hapily ever after. what you feel is just full of emotions. what is real on the other hand is what your 5 senses can.. reach? (sorry i don't know the best word for it) real is what your eyes can see naturally, what you hear, what you feel physically, what you can taste and what you can smell. if you use your senses and see, feel, taste, hear and smell things using those senses of yours, that is real. ( i hope you get what im saying. haha!)

how about alienation? hmn.. isnt it that we do alienate ourselves from others when we are imagining things? reason? because it was only us alone who can understand things that we are imagining about. right? it is us alone who can relate to the story that we are creating on our minds, not unless we wrote it down on paper and that someone have read it. but no one really wanted to be totally alienated from others right? all of us wanted to have friends. we wanted someone whom we can talk to from time to time. we want someone to accompany us when we want to hang out. even if you're a loner, somehow you still want to be with somebody. we always want somebody to be there when we need somebody. right? well not unless we really wanted to be alone with ourselves. yeah sometimes, we also do wanted to be with.. just on our own.. but still not always. who wants to live on their own alone forever anyway? i think, no one does. eat your pride.
